Kindergarten Enrollment
2024-25 Kindergarten Registration & Kindergarten Screening will take place on two different days.
Kindergarten Registration will be held online starting February 22, or in person at the Registration Center, 308 S Little Eagle Dr, Nixa, beginning Monday, February 26.
Kindergarten Screening will take place at the student's kindergarten school.
Kindergarten Registration:
Register your 2024-25 kindergarten students so they will be ready to start kindergarten on Monday, August 19, 2024.
Who: New kindergarten students to Nixa Public Schools that will be five (5) years old on or before July 31, 2024. If your child is a current Early Learning Center or Early Childhood Center student at Nixa Schools, you do NOT need to complete a Kindergarten Registration. You WILL need to attend Kindergarten screening at the student's boundary school.
When: You can complete the online registration beginning February 22. You will be given the opportunity to upload all required documents. If you are unable to upload the documents or prefer to complete the registration in person, you stop by the Nixa Registration Center Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. Your child does NOT need to attend Kindergarten Registration.

Kindergarten Screening:
You will not want to miss Kindergarten Screening! This is a special day for you and your kindergarten students to spend together at their school. Your child will be rotating through various activity stations with peers while parents meet the school staff members and learn more about the school.
Who: All students that will be attending kindergarten on August 19, 2024. This includes both NEW students to Nixa and our CURRENT Nixa Public School's Early Learning Center & Early Childhood Center preschool students.
